Terms of UseTsota

These terms apply to Tsota, an app for learning Georgian made by Dmitry Ivanenko, an independent developer ("I", "me"). By downloading or using Tsota you agree to them.

Apple's license agreement

Tsota is distributed through the App Store. Your use of the app, and anything you buy through the App Store, is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the App Store terms. If these terms conflict with Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement wins.

License

I give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tsota on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial learning. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its content (lessons, cards and grammar notes), and you may not reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.

The app, its lessons and its design belong to me. Letter sounds come from third-party sources under their own licenses, credited inside the app.

Learning content

I work hard to make lessons accurate. Some content is drafted with the help of AI tools during development, and every card is reviewed by a person before it ships. Still, mistakes in translations, transliterations or examples can happen, and Tsota is a study aid, not a professional translation service. If you find an error, please tell me.

Your data

Tsota stores your progress on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups if you want to keep it. How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

Tsota is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. I don't promise that the app will be error-free, always available, or that it will help you reach a particular level of Georgian.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Tsota. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

Changes

I may update these terms as the app changes. When I do, I will change the effective date above; the address of this page stays the same. If you keep using Tsota after an update, the new terms apply.
